is just getting down low enough to work on it. I'll try and do this from memory since I threw out my little cheat sheet from the Bentley manual.

You have 4 screws and two plastic trim pieces to remove to get to the bulb. As an FYI, the black plastic fitting/trimwork around the foglight assembly is actually two pieces. The mesh part and the solid part around the foglight assembly itself. In order:


First remove by hand the plastic mesh trim located to the inside of the foglight assembly. That just pulls out by hand. If you can stick your fingers in the mesh holes themselves, pull from the side closest to the foglight assembly in a pivoting motion to the center of the car, not from the side closest to the center of the bumper.

Second is the black plastic housing that surrounds the foglight itself. There are two philips head screws to remove. They are located at the top and at the bottom of the plastic trim surrounding the foglight assembly. It requires a shorthandled screw driver to fit it in there. Kind of a pain in the ass. Once they are removed, the plastic piece should swing out of the way of the foglight itself.

Third, the foglight is secured by two star headed screws. Not sure of the size. Unscrew those and the foglight assembly should pull out. You have about 6" of wiring to work with so just unplug the foglight itself, and do as I did - get inside where it's warm! That way you can replace the bulb without racking your knuckles! Make certain the bulb is very clean and your hands do not touch it!

Pop in the new bulb, re-assemble and repeat for the other side.

Easy!!

took me about 20 minutes on the first and about 5 on the second...they now match the Xenon perfectly...thanks again for your help!! Now I'm waiting for my smoked rear lights to arrive...
