They said $975.00 mounted balanced on the car.
I saw where tire rack was $214.00w/o shipping each and another local tire guy was $257.00 mounted and balanced.
Any tire will wear out and I have had michilins and they are good I just assume the dunlop 9000 for the price I think.
The guy who quoted me $198.00 each , they do all the Hi-Perfomance cars.

match what you get quoted from Tire Rack...I have used Tire Rack for years as well. If you use TR then you still have to have them m&b some place...but your local Audi dealer will do that for you for a normal fee.

...consider a search. Someone reported chunks flying off their Dunlops at the track, on rs6.com I think.

Also, like LIRS6 says, don't forget the Heavy Load rating recommended for the RS6 by AOA. Only three brands in US carry it in 18" for the RS6 at last count -- Dunlop, Pirelli and Michelin, the first two being provided with the new cars in the US. Without the extra rating, the front-biased weight on the RS6 -- and the forces generated by that weight during cornering -- can cause sidewalls to fail IMHO.
