It's been a long wait.... in fact since late February 2002 when the RS6 was announced.

This morning I went with my local Audi Dealership's Manager to fetch the car at the railways depot.
I drove it back to the dealership for the Pre-Delivery Inspection which is happening right now. However they will not wash the car, something I did request.
By 3 pm the car should be ready and then I'll spend the affternoon detailing the RS6....

So far I have one comment: After driving the RS6, the S6 feels totally flat
and to keep that thing at or below 4000 rpm will soooooo difficult!

Stick with it for the break in period, it's worth it! I found that even restrained to 4k rpm, it felt as fast as the S8 did, and nothing was a problem to overtake. Besides which, it makes some lovely burbling noises at low revs - enjoy them!

journey two weeks after I got the car so the break-in period went by fast for me. I have to imagine there's some scenic springtime journeys near by you in South Africa ;-)
