Has anyone successfully link VAG-COM to an RS 6 to set the door unlock function?
I was unable to access the control module for the locks! number 45 if I recall.
Hate the push the button again for the rest of the doors BS....

Keep in mind, you'll need a dual-k Interface for use on C5 platform cars from 2002+.<ul><li><a href="http://www.ross-tech.com/vag-com/cars/applications/100a6.html">http://www.ross-tech.com/vag-com/cars/applications/100a6.html</a</li></ul>

I am using the TWIN-COM Dual-K Vag/150 interface
and am accessing 46-Central Convenience.
I could not access this module, but could access 35-Central Locks. I was not sure how to proceed from there.
On my older A6, 2001, I was able to change the locks
to one push opens all, etc, but could never access the module for the fogs on without low beams on.
Any ideas?
Mike

any rubbing in the wheel well when traversing over sudden depressions. sending the sprung chassis north into the wheel well for a brief rub?

I was worried about such problems, but The TireRack is very good about certifying the "Fit".
I have checked for any signs of rubbing several times. Since the care is covered with road salt an dirt it is easy to spot any rubbed spot on the fender or suspension. So far nothing and I check daily....
What is the dual-K interface?
I have the VAG-COM too, but I was not able to do any mods to the system, other then read and clear engine codes (which none were present of course)!

Looking at the chart, and the price column, looks like I have the Uni-Com.
To upgrade, do I have to buy a whole new one (Hex-Com), or is there some other way?

Hi,
I finally had a half hour to kill and re accessed my car's CPU to set the locks/windows/alarm chirp...
I accessed module number 09, not 35. This is the same module I access in my 2001 A6 4.2. Now all the locks unlock with one push, windows open/close with remote, and I'll test out auto lock/unlock later when I am sure to be called to the hospital...
Still cannot access module that controls the Fog lights...oh, well no fogs without headlights for me.
Happy New Year All
Mike
