Location : Girl scouts Cabin on Paxton Avenue in Bronxville New York (exit 1 off the Bronx River parkway) I will be posting directions on the NYC metro website..
NYC metro and the CT/NY group is proud to announce the now officially annual pre-Turkey Day mod day sponsored by PES. The event will be held at the same location as last year for you returnees, and that is at the girl scouts cabin in Bronxville New York which is approximately 35minutes from midtown New York City.. The event will be held on November 22 and modding will commence around 10:30...
For the people that weren't able to make the event last year, let me give you some information about the event.. Thanks to Peter Brennan we were able to get our hands on the Girl Scouts Cabin, which provides indoor shelter for our cold attendees and of course the guys soldering chips.. Since the weather turned out to be nice last year, we also had a couple of people doing some various installs on their cars (DVs, euros, chip swaps..etc), and a few others getting some rides in some modded cars.. Food will not be provided, but the cabin is about a five minute walk from the town of Bronxville and about 10mins from fast food heaven. And of course all local Audi and Vdub enthusiasts are welcome to participate in this event.
Last year we had a huge turnout, according to PES approximately 20 people went home with faster cars.. :) And we are hoping for the same this year.. The way it will work is that anyone that wants to get a GIAC chip (tip chip or performance), IBE unit, or a PES product has to call up PES and place their order through Ron at 1.877.697.1688.. By prepaying for your chip, PES guarantees that you will go home a happier person on November 22, otherwise there is no guarantee you will get a chip because of a lack of supply or time..
Now for the good stuff.. The deals that PES has offered..
10% off of all IBE units, yes folks these once out of stock units can be gotten with a discount.. : ) being an X-chip owner this excites me the most..
10% off all performance chips AND a free stock socket when you want to go to the dealership..
10% off of all tip chips..
and of course deals on various PES products (contact Ron at 1.877.697.1688)
So for all those people that said they wanted in, nows the time to call and place your order because we need a minimum of about 20 orders.. If you want to get a chip (performance or tip) or IBE unit, call up Ron at 1.877.697.1688 and place your order as soon as possible.. We must receive the orders no later then November 14, and we must get these orders in quickly to ensure PES comes up.. Also if you want IBE, you must call now so PES has time to place their parts order..
