hit the link. I know they're pricey but they look sweet.

Achtuning sells 19" OEM replicas in good quality for a fraction of the dealer price.

BBS LM

On the main page of the site is a link to a feature article of my RS6 at Road America for the Audi driving school that they just had in September.

Link to RS6 site with pix of after market wheels on JP4's beast!

500 hp is available as ECU upgrade.

Press release OETTINGER-RS6 4.2 Biturbo with 540 PS (397 kW) September 2003

OETTINGER in Friedrichsdorf now offer a further performance enhancement for the Audi RS6. For those who feel that the initial OETTINGER enhancement to 500 hp which has been on offer since the beginning of 2003 is not sufficient, a more potent alternative is now available from the team in Friedrichsdorf, 540 hp (397 kW) at 6000 rpm now make a statement which cannot be ignored. The additional 90 hp released from the V8 Biturbo by the OETTINGER upgrade, in a whiplashing surge which presents itself typical OETTINGER manner, across the whole rev range.

A polished stainless steel exhaust system from the Turbocharger back is installed. The system comprises of two down pipes, with free flow sport catalysts, a middle and two rear silencers with 75mm diameter twin tailpipes either side. In addition to the greatly reduced exhaust back pressure due to the 70mm section pipes, modifications to the fuel injection system and inlet tract lay the basis for the increase in power and the vibrant sound from the forced induction eight cylinder engine.

As is to be expected from the engineers in Friedrichsdorf, the recalibration of the engine management has been carefully developed during the course of extensive testing on the test bench and test track. The result is an optimal torque curve which now peaks at a brutal 730 Nm (538 lb/ft) at 3300 rpm and catapults the OETTINGER RS6 from a standstill to 100 km/h (62 mph) in 4.2 sec, that is over half a second quicker then its standard cousins.

The gearbox programming is also modified to match the new characteristics of the engine. If required, OETTINGER can also remove the speed limiter allowing the OETTINGER RS6 to reach a maximum speed of over 300 km/h (187 mph) depending on vehicle specification and the wheels and tyres fitted. The conversion including the removal of the speed limiter is available for EUR 10 500.00 incl. fitting at the OETTINGER workshop in Friedrichsdorf near Frankfurt in Germany.

The visual appearance is further enhanced by the sporty and elegant 19 inch OETTINGER RZ wheels (from EUR 4 400.00 / set) which provide a tantalising view of the OETTINGER high performance brakes (EUR 4 500.00 incl. fitting). The brake kit consists of 380 mm (15 inch) perforated high performance discs at the front and perforated discs at the rear. Thus equipped, the almost 2 ton noble station wagon has the acceleration, performance and deceleration befitting a purebred sportscar.

21 pounds each wheel. The track tire wheel combo with these wheels saved me 13 lbs on each corner! MANNN did THAT make a difference on almost every performance parameter. Especially turn in response.
