View Full Version : Anyone with white/silver leather having dye transfer problems? jc 10-15-2003, 01:12 PM Mine is stained reddish brown from my belt..anyone else had this problem? Lexol and elbow grease got about 50% of mine off even after I had been leaving marks for about a year. I've bought McGuires but haven't used it yet...no problems so far. I have also been told that it can be fixed by the dealer - they have to re-dye the leather and it can be quite costly. I've thought about seat covers, but just can't do it. Good luck! dinan5 10-15-2003, 05:41 PM it happened in my E39 540 with gray interior...it happened to my wife's Lexus LX470 with gray interior as well. Kgnast-Nemo4.2 10-16-2003, 11:00 AM some remnant black marks on the seat where I had set my bag down, and I have not been able to remove the stain marks. Kinda pissed, nonetheless, the bags only gets placed in the trunk nowadays. Kgnast-Nemo4.2 10-16-2003, 11:01 AM J/K ; ) PhoenixGTS 10-19-2003, 10:03 AM Kgnast-Nemo4.2 10-20-2003, 11:06 AM |
