I hope to be the first person with an A6 4.2 to put an complete RS6 body kit on in the spring, but thats a long time from now and I'm sure someone will beat me to it (assuming it will fit OK).

Nice to have your own forum, I felt it should have been this way from the beginning as the S4/RS4 folks always did.

But heres a question for you RS 6 owners (especially the Brit with his 19's) What size tire is comming on the 18" and 19" wheel models and what is the specs on the 9 spoke RS 6 wheels? I assume the 18" has 255/40/18 with a 18 x 8.5 ET 35 but correct me if I am wrong and Mr. BRIT whats the full specs on the 19" tire and wheel you have?

Thank you.

tyres, or else the shoulders start to heat up and wear very quickly and the risk of blowout is massively increased.

Brands I know that are available in this size include;
Pirelli P Zero Rosso
Conti SportContact2
Dunlop SP9000

The pictures didn't do it justice and I can't remember who it was.

Achtuning sells the body parts.

I'll be looking for the real deal OEM, not a fiberglass knock off if I do it.

No pics of this persons project handy? Just curious. I saw the initial pics from AWE but they did not do it do it justice youre right, assuming it was the same pic. I can't imagine many have done this mod and I doubt anyone in the US has used an OEM kit yet or I certainly would have been all over that post.

As well as the front lower air dam and all of the brushed metal, just a perfectly nice combo of parts on the car (I'd skip the rear spoiler, but that's just me).

Wider track, narrower body?:

The measurements are taken from different places.
The track is several inches wider on the RS6 and IMO the body is the same. I can't believe they would make a different shell for one car.
The outside measurements on the 4.2 are taken at the mirror edge and the RS6 are taken at the edge of the fender.
The track is definitely several inches wider on the RS6 though.

Yet another dilemma for the US-bound...no S6 sedan for comparison (yeah, I could've gone to another Kindom's site for some measurements....)

Hey Dinan, how's the new car behaving? Haven't chatted with you much since you got the RS6.
Hope all is well in your world.
