i took my airbox home to modify it a bit and someone threw away the peace that reaches inside my air box top portion will i have the same or better flow without it? i had to bolt the box on without it because im putting it on the road Monday.
took it out on the dealer plate and i have not noticed a drop in mileage or performance.

also an aside im making a tunnel ram style intake plenum that will copy the r8.(minus the single throttle body) in a few months and was wondering about the valves i saw in another post can i get by without them somehow?
