Sometime over the past few days the Alpine head unit or the Alpine Bluetooth adapter stopped pairing with my iphone. We can go in and set it all up again but it stops pairing inexcplicably with phone in or out of the car and the only way to pair it is to go thru a headunit "reset" and start over with EVERY radio setup function. Otherwise the head unit is fine and does all the hi-fi stuff flawlessly.

Car Toys has a new head unit and BT adapter coming in from another store today and will swap out the 2 units. Don't know how they'll determine which is faulty as sometimes it takes days for the system to "un-pair" from the iphone and they have no "bench" facility that I'm aware of in-house. Probably just swap me the two replacement units and send my old components back to Alpine?

After about 120 hours of stereo at half volume 24/7 in a closed car with a battery charger hooked up the Focals have REALLY blossomed... huge, Huge, HUGE difference beteen "right-outta-the-box" and 120 hours at half volume which is almot twice the volume I can endure while seated in the car.

But then again I don't know much of anything about speakers. Kinda neat though.
