I can not find/figure out how to see my old PayPal invoices from approx 2 years ago. I am trying to find out transaction for my T.B. to confirm what type I have.
I am 90% sure that it is a XTB, I want to make sure tho.

no rush... thanks again.

By searching on posts you've made here at the forum it would appear you have an XTB. Additionally there's no record of you having sent me an "S" core to modify.

Below is a link to a post you made regarding installation of your "XTB" after receiving it. There are also additional posts you made over a period of months mentioning your "XTB" so I've got a strong gut-level hunch you have an XTB and not an SXTB. However, the only way of knowing empirically is to do a quick TB R&R tho I think the "S" after seeing what you've written is a long-shot.

XTB post

excellent, I am 99.999999999% positive my core I sent to you was NOT a "S"

So that would make it s XTB...thanks for the help. I was under the impression that there were several versions of the non "S" T.B.'s that you made.

thanks again.

and that is an impossible task trying to keep track of those. There are "+" conversions to the XTB/SXTB that are based on prescribed specifications over and above the "+" baseline nomenclature. Lets say a "+" designation runs $100 on an XTB/STB. But a customer comes along that wants a little more flow and has a little more money to spend but doesn't wanna step up to the plate for an RSXTB. In that case I just put in man-hours, based on $50 an hour using a vast array of flow-enhancing modifications that are part of the evolutionary process used in the RSXTB. That $50 per hour is based on my time and the use of a multitude of high dollar CNC/manual machines and grinding tools as well as all consumable grinding, porting, honing, polishing media, additional epoxy, fasteners etc required to complete the project as-ordered/purchased.

It's difficult to find a proper name for a throttle body that someone orders and tells me "I want to pay you for the throttle body and kick in another $227.50 for additional work done to it." In that case I don't even know where to begin to try and establish a name or nomenclature for "that" throttle body. That would translate into approximately 4.55 hours in additional work above/beyond base price but somehow calling a throttle body something like or akin to SXTB+2.55 or SXTB4.55 doesn't appeal to me and would create mass confusion in the market place. It would also tempt less-than-honest people to fudge their TB nomenclature at time of re-sale as I'd really be the only one that could validate what they have and not likely by viewing a picture of it. I'd have to have it in-hand and pore over it with calipers and a micrometer to make those kinds of distinctions.

It's a can of worms I'll admit but there's just no easy, fool-proof method of identifying all the possible TB iterations that are capable of being produced. And I hate to limit people wanting "something more" to "pre-set" or carved-in-stone specifications. Basically if someone wants to beat his friend who has "X throttle body" by paying an additional $50 I don't want to tell him he "has" to do it a certain way following some protocol.

It has the potential to become a VERY comlex/complicated issue. But I'm not here to tell people "here's what you get." I'd much rather ask "how do you want it?"
