I thought I'd snap a couple pics of my Audi Spyder concept car poster for you guys. I got this at the Audi Museum about four years ago.

Seen it before, but still very cool. I wonder if the 12v was any different than the production versions?

...had a 6 speed, I imagine it would be entertaining at the least.

...& it's a quattro, I wonder what drive-train it has? I especially like the 914 door-handles which tip off where some of the concept may have come from (see roll bar & removeable roof). Better looking than the R8 IMHO.

My 914/6 weighs about 2200lbs, this car weighs 2425 (aluminum body). Any 2.8 that loves to rev like my 12V would be very entertaining in such a car!

love the engine sound & "the Avengers" music...

der quattro spyder...

I wouldn't say the 12v 'loves to rev' IMO.

Also, that's an old photo, I went back to the stock air box once I threw in the VS-S3 MAF-S2 Hose-SXTB combo.

..."Gentlemen, we cannot afford the luxury of such pessimism"
(Utah Phillips, 1933-2008). Now there was a man.

So after after 458 posts has your car's story become one of Arrested
12V Development?

Surely, you can still make great use of the hive of mental acuity available to you here.

As for myself, I find no end in sight to my fascination with this lovely engine; what is do-able with it; & the well-spring of this forum.
Wouldn't you agree?

Utah Phillips, an obituary & a half...
