I'd like to figure out how you guys work out all the core madness and stuff. I am looking into a TB and MAF, I was just curious. I not totally sure I understand the exchanges that take place for say a new XTB. I've been reading a lot of the posts but I haven't quite pieced everything together.
Thanks,

You can do that by either sending him a TB first (requires an extra), or paying a core fee which is returned to you after you receive your new TB and send back the old one.
any part off their car for modification "before" receiving a modified part. This allows them full use of their vehicle when ordering a part instead of their car being "down & disassembled" while shipping a part to me, waiting for me to modify it, and return shipping to purchaser.
It works like this:
1. You pay for a part via Paypal which places your order for any part I'm currently producing.
2. You send the specified refundable deposit amount for that part via a separate Paypal transfer when requested and "before" any part ships.
3. I ship the modified part to you within 1-3 days of receipt of the refundable deposit.
4. You install the part I send and return your old "CLEAN/RESALEABLE" part to me. Deductions may be taken from your deposit if returned parts are not clean! I don't sell or ship any dirty, oily or greasy parts and I appreciate NOT receiving them!
5. Upon return receipt of your old part in good, clean and re-saleable condition I refund 100% of your Paypal deposit.
If I receive your old part(s) back within 60 days of the date deposit was made Paypal assesses no fees or penalties to your deposit and you receive 100% of your deposit back. Of course I'd prefer to get your parts back MUCH quicker than 60 days as when I'm without "exchange units" I'm out of the "exchange program" business as I only have a limited number of "exchange parts" available for everything I make.
Core deposit amounts:
MAF: $200
Throttle Body: $200
Power Steering Pulley: $100
Refundable deposits are intentionally set high. With lower deposits people drag their feet returning parts to me and some never return them at all. With higher deposits people are quicker getting the parts back to me as "financial need" is a powerful motivator! It's human nature once people install a new part they're in a LOT less hurry getting a core back to me than they were in getting the modified part. A higher deposit helps level the playing field.
Hope this helps,
M

Any chance of another recovery sleeve run?

I don't want to miss the GP but I can't be sure I'll get the new pulley on within 60 days.
I hate the idea of buying a new pulley when there will be good used ones floating around after people exchange theirs.
to check your oil or tire pressures or get a car wash surely you can find less than 5 minutes in under 60 days. Don't shave one day or put it off for 10 minutes and change pulleys TWICE!

It comes with a complete 3" DIY hose kit.

And it seems like after shipping costs, buying a used one from ebay or otherwise will end up costing about the same. Buying a new one also guarantees it's in good condition. (If they are damaged, they can't be used.)

its the large bore one. That wouldn't be exchangeable if I understand this correctly. I would have to find a 471A MAF and then exchange. Correct?
