I have emailed them and they ask to know if the ecu is the Bosch or the Hitachi. and for me being new to the Audi Tuning scene have no idea where it is but the website is www.inmotionusa.com

but that ecu program isn't for ours, that is for the 30 valve engine.

hmmmmmm looks like they say they have chips or "tuning programs" for the audi 80 2.8e which is the 12v but im still skeptical..but ill keep my hopes up. i will try to look into this future. if anyone hasn't already.

maybe ill call. because if you ship to them and they don't do anything or cant do anything to it.. false advertising..haha

but ya, if it is true that would be nice, but probably not, because we cannot advance our timing, our ecu's can only retard the timing.

they either want me to remove it and ship it to them or even if i could find one out of a junkyard they could do a flash on it but yeah they want me to ship them mine but they can also do a clone if you find a second one lol

ok thanks and it is only for the 30v not the 12v cause it only states the non turbo v6 not wheather its a 12v or for a 30v but thanks for the location and the look up

yeah they state the proper hp and tq ratings at 172hp and 184tq so idk that would be awesome if it would work lol that would save alot of money on other tuning and engine work

Such ECUs were only available in North America for 1.5 years - 1992 and half of 1993. They were used for all European 12Vs, if I'm not mistaken. They are not swappable to later North American cars.

The archive here contains many falsehoods.
