I have decided to get down and dirty and replace the oil myself. Is there a procedure on the best practice of doing this somewhere.... nuances.. tips

No mention of:

- the oil should be warm so it drains well, but not so hot it will burn you

- the dipstick should be removed during draining

- one should make sure the oil filter gasket came off with the old filter and isn't stuck on the mounting flange

- a new copper or alu crush washer must be used

- the new filter gasket should be oiled

- the oil filter mounting flange should be wiped clean before installing the new filter

- the filter should be put on only good hand-tight

- the filter should be prefilled through the small holes on the side, not through the center tube

- the oil level should be checked after a short test drive, and so should the oil filter to see if there's a leak
