It will be my first TB job but I am very mechanically inclined and have all the tools and parts and instructions. I just can't be up too late. Let me know what you vets think

my first time took about 9 hours, but I also replaced camshaft oil seals.

use your long front bumper bolts to hoist your front end when you put the car in the "service position". If you're lucky you won't have an improperly mounted crank pulley which leads you to think you valves are all bent! :)

I can do it in one & a half hours now with bumper/radiator removed. For me personally, the work goes faster with those parts removed. BTW, that's without the holding tools too.

PS. a 6mm allen socket is your friend.

Adding in a water pump, and thermo R&R will add more time to the mix. ;O)

Plus the occasional leaking seal...

years ago on my Accord (26K on a NEW belt!) and would be paranoid to trust myself to change it. I'll let a shop take responsibility on such an expensive proposition. That said,
I admire everyones' courage and determination!!
I'll stick to spark plugs, oil, pads and maybe struts.
