I'm going back to MN in the next week and may be getting a motorcycle from a friend. Now I'm just kicking around my options of how I'm going to get it back.

the hitch you're looking for is a DaLan hitch. you can find it at hitchesonline.com or hitch-web.com. Since there are no frame rails on the back of our cars, this hitch actually mounts to the spare tire hump under the car.

Only thing holding me back is that I don't want to see the hitch receiver on the back of the car. I've been toying with making a custom hitch. i know a guy up in PA that has a welding shop next to our family business. That hitch would be more like the OEM hitches in Europe (which unfortunately we can't get here... already tried). My hitch would require a custom "J" draw bar as well. I'd use it for a tire trailer and a jetski... if I could afford to get one that is ;)

Here's a link to a guy I found on AW when I was researching... I also got a ton of pix of the hitch that a fellow AWer hooked me up with so that I could design my own... so if you wanna see any ofthose email me. It's my user name at gmail.com

http://home.hiwaay.net/~langford/a4/av_hitch.html</a

Less power weaker tranny. I dont see why the 12v wouldnt work? Not really sure where you would mount it though.
