I get times that the starter wont engage. I have to turn it over lots times before it catch's. I noticed that just before it will engage, i hear a double click under the dash. This kinda makes me wonder if theres a problem with the engition switch. What could the two clicks be ?

EGainer (on the B5 board) had a similar problem. He replaced his ignition switch and that solved the problem.

Did you by chance have yours replaced under the recall? If not, you might wanna call the dealer and ask about it... if you have an A4... not sure if the same recall exists for the 90
