I thought this was all over exaggerated. I was provan wrong when I drove no more then 20 foot down the road. I then figured ok well so there completely smooth under light acceleration. I found a back road near my house that I sometimes run around on. I took the car up to 90mph and the whole time getting to 90mph I didn't have any vibration in the mounts at all. I then released the gas and let it rev down while in gear. Still very smooth and no vibration. My recent set of tranny mounts are less then 1 month old. So its not like I had old mounts and replaced them with these. If I did it would probably be a night and day diffrence.

My next upgrade has to be the shift linkages U-joint. There is way to much play there.

Peace, Thomas

You have the rebuild link, right?

If you get to it before me, post some pics! I'm not sure how to get at the lever from underneath.

I dont plan on doing mine till summer time when it gets warmer. As I have no clue to get it apart either. So it will probably take me all day and then some lol. Anyway all I plan to change is the rubber bushing inside the U-joint.

After reading that. It looks like a fun task. Its been ahwile since iv had a fun task. I think I might do that next Sunday. There is an ACE hardware store opening down the street. Now all I have to do is figure out how to disconect the linkage. Any diagrams? :)
