I STF earlier today and recall reading a recomendation to reset the computer after the install of new plugs. I was not sure if this was for a modified 12V or stock. I am replacing the plugs with NGK BKUR6ET-10, which are recomended in the owners manual. This is on a 94' 100CS with the AAH 2.8. Should I reset the computer by removing the ground off the battery before starting the car, after changing the plugs?
them would be the perfect time. It may be much ado about nothing but it can prevent surprises to have the computer start a fresh program.

Remember this engine is bone stock. I have Bosch Platnum +4's on hand. I am planning on returning them tomorrow because it seems results have been mixed with these. The NGK's seem to have given people here fewer problems.
Is there a better plug for a stock engine?
assured with them. Probably the most benign/innoucuous plug out there. Any other plug seems to be more of a hit/miss/love/hate while it seems everyone agrees the NGK's are good. Sure some swear there are "better" and that may be so but NGK's are known good, safe, reliable and much more available/accesible than some other more exotic plugs. And you have the Audi "recommended plug" for added confidence. They're what I was using before the Bosch Mystery Plugs I have now and likely what I'll return to after these are used up. They're safe and they work. Perfect choice for anyone who just wants to drive.
