If there's still no change whatsoever, nil, zilch, bubkus, etc, I suggest you may want to ask Frank himself what's up. You should be able to reach him here: auto-rx@worldnet.att.net

View Full Version : UrS4, how's the ARX doing? moribundman 10-19-2004, 02:01 AM If there's still no change whatsoever, nil, zilch, bubkus, etc, I suggest you may want to ask Frank himself what's up. You should be able to reach him here: auto-rx@worldnet.att.net VAP 10-19-2004, 06:27 AM where all the BITOG Boys said the changes would occur. In 779 miles I'm supposed to start the final "treatment stage" with another filter, 14ozs of the product with a 1,500 mile drive followed then by yet another filter and another 2,000 mile rinse phase. Oil is as clean on the dipstick today 1200+ miles into the first rinse phase as it was the day I changed the "treatment phase" filter and re-filled with clean dino oil to run the first rinse phase. If this phase is doing anything at all the results must be hiding from the dipstick. I've washed enough dishes in my day to know not to rely on the "rinse cycle" to accomplish any cleaning. Same when I use the dishwasher or the washing machine. Dont know how the BITOG Boys think rinsing is so much more effective than washing/cleaning. If that were true I think I could just drive and "rinse" with accelerated oil changes and never do a cleaning treatment, which may well be where most cleaning comes from rather than the treatment itself if any occurs. Seems to me any "rinse" cycle, like when doing a load of dishes or laundry is simply to rinse the soap out and not offer any cleaning. If that were true I think there'd be a lot less liquid Dawn and or Cascade sold. Not to mention Tide & Cheer. For now I know I'm involved in a total and complete waste of time. Just another snake oil Italian Tune-up in a can. It has done absolutely nothing I bought it to do and its not changing the appearance of anything even in the most minute way. No way I'm going to Frank or BITOG at this time. I see the folly in doing so would surely set me up for all kinds of "you never gave it a chance" sort of retorts. Far better I go at them when the treatment has gone thru its full course so I can be told I must not have followed the directions correctly. Mr.D-'97 A4q 12v 10-19-2004, 11:58 AM It was funny when Mance said that in his post because I was thinking they'd come up with the same excuse. moribundman 10-19-2004, 12:06 PM the questionable claim that the actual cleaning will appear during the rinse phase. The actual cleaning phase seems to be more like the presoak on my washer. :-P Mr.D-'97 A4q 12v 10-19-2004, 12:19 PM moribundman 10-19-2004, 01:06 PM |
