i realize that this sounds kinda stupid, but I was just curious.
it is actually my own personal perference to have a firmer pedal, and IMO the 90 gas pedal in it's current state is pretty light/soft...
So would there be any suggestions as to tightening up the responce/feel? Perhaps only to do with the butterfly actuating mechanisms on the top. But i dunno, suppose I could just be doing all the tinkering myself, but I was just curious to know if anybody had thoughts or was wondering the same =)
take care

there was a small write up on the 80/90 forum sometime back IIRC Hookie 90 did it. Anyway there follow your throttle cable form the starting point on the TB too about five inches away from starting point. You will come to a small adjustable secontion remove the metal clip and adjust to whatever you want. If you are lost as to what im talking about I think once you pop off the cover and look to the passangers side of the TB you might notice it. If not ill get a pic up in a few minuts.

if there is still play and you cannot adjust it anymore, it's time for a new cable ;o)

Just be absolutly certain that you don't create a jam, or other wierd siutation where the pedal stays "down" when you lift your foot. And consider the cruise control when you decide where to hook the spring on.

Funny thing is some are towed in while others find the little "nub" to work and a few of the more resourceful have hooked up elaborate underhood wires/strings to operate the throttle by hand to limp it in. That must have be a fun drive!

I didn't have a string. But I used a pantyhose (not mine!!!) as makeshift belt in a VW Bug once.
