View Full Version : OK guys I have gotten a 16785 EGR insufficient flow error code twice now.

Yes, I have searched, but info is scattered with out any definitve results.

Here are my symptoms. Both times it has come on it was around 8:00 AM and about 60 degrees outside. I had only been driving ~5 minutes and accelerating slowly in first or second gear. I read several posts by Audimick, but I am still wondering what my plan of attack is going to be. Does anybody have a pic of the EGR valve, I don't even know what it looks like, but I think it is by the TB.

Here you can find the EGR valve:

First of all I'd check the vacuum hoses that goes from the EGR solenoid to the EGR valve and the vac hoses on the EGR solenoid itself (on top of plenum):

tho I couldnt get the EGR off from the exhaust manifold. moved it back from the intake manifold and went at it ;o)
