It really wasn't as bad as I thought it would be, oh wait just kidding! After 12 hours of work, my car's all back together and running strong! I guess that it's not difficult its just tedious as all getout!

Now that was some dirty coolant! After changing the stuff, I seem to be running a little cooler.

Make sure you buy a big can of gasket remover, that water pump gasket is tough!

Halfway back together!

UrS4's snub has been sitting in my trunk for 6 months now. What a difference it made too! It's probably not as dramatic as in a standard, but it stopped my tranny from "thunking" when it shifts.

You may notice in picture #4 the little brown ground wire. Well boys and girls, make sure that one is connected. It leads into the ABS unit, and it causes all kinds of suprises if unconnected! I was pretty scared when I the check engine light illuminated and I recieved misfires in cylinders 1-3. Not quite sure how it came undone. If anyone has a chance, could they look to see where the factory grounding spot is for it?

Thanks again Mr. D. for loaning me the cam and crank locking tools.

No problem on borrowing the tools. Anytime.

Ack! I HATE doing gaskets like the water pump gasket. Out of the entire 12 hours that's the part I hate the worse! And that includes getting sprayed in the face with coolant! :-)

Looks like your ABS wire hooks here:

can't for the life of me figure how it came undone!

Package is in the mail via UPS.

Someone may have had it hooked up in a different location and it came undone when you took the car apart.

But I hope I can wait a little longer with it. ;-)

I stripped the head of the TB tensioner bolt. That's why this last time I put the car in "service position" and replaced the tensioner bolt. ;-)
