vaged my car and came up with this code 01273-fresh air blower. i took the car to a mechanic and he told me it was the blower motor which is going to cost me $350ish part+ 112 labor. problem is that the heat/ac never blows unless the car is in motion.so it works on the highway but when i stop, the air stops coming out.also it blows air when it feels like. any ideas or were to get the part for less

and the reason it blows while you're moving is cuz the air is forced through the cabin filter and through the car... and when you stop... i'm sure you follow my logic ;)

If you pop off your glovebox kick panel you'll see the motor, so it's not that bad of a DIY IMHO. 3 screws and a plug after the kick panel is off. And of course getting all the damn adhesive off the motor... but that's neither here nor there ;)
