This sucks. Im not getting any spark and my car is just sitting in the driveway. Does anyone know where would be a good place to start? I have a 2.8 V6 A4, and I'm not getting any spark from all three of the iginition modules. I thought I read somewhere before about them having problems somewhere with that area. PLEASE any help would be greatly appreciated.

I did some searching and have a few questions. When my car died it was while it was parked, turned it off the night before and it was fine, went out the next morning to start her, and she wouldn't start, it would crank but not run.
So I've been doing some researching...
Could a failed Ignition amplifier/Power Output Stage cause all three coil packs to produce no spark?

I've heard of similar problems caused by the camshaft position sensor failing. I'm not exactly sure how to test it or even where it is.

The issue I was having recently was that the car would crank but not turn over and actually start. So what eventually ended up happening was that the engine would flood and a few hours later when I tried to start it again it would start but stink of fuel for a few mins. It eventually started again though.
A few days ago with the help of MrD (ok it was all MrD) my ICV (idle control valve) was cleaned and reinstalled on the car. I've also been replacing vacuum hoses because mine are ancient. So far no starting problems (knock on wood). So I would try that first since it's also the cheapest.

Without the correct input, the ECU can't calculate the correct fuel/air mix. It's a possibility...

I am reading these threads and have the same problem, I recently went to the garage to get and inspection stick and some fault codes showed up p1393, p1394, and p1395 they are for the ignition coil but I have not found a way to correct it. Please if anyone knows the correction to this let me know.
