below as that is not something I want to take on. It's been fun, but my motivation has been lost, as taking 15 hours to do a project that I have no idea of future results.

This is all a joke, but I don't think I'm doing my ram-air now, unless Mr. D wants to hang in Chicago for a day and help a brother out!

Hose kit and exhaust here I come!

Just pay for my airfare, lodging, and food. Oh, and my wife has to be included, too. ;-)

Getting the 3" pipe (or VS) in the airbox at a good angle so it doesn't hit the support that runs under the airbox and provides the straightest run from the bumper opening to the aibox.

-and-

Making the inlet in the bumper look pretty. I used the stock bumper grill and cut out the blanks so the grill is completely open. Used a hack saw blade and a rotory tool.

Don't let UrS4 scare ya. Just go do it. You'll be pleased with the results. My next project is coming up with a more effective (larger) duct. A S4 bumper may help facilitate that. ;-)

Good luck.

all I've said is that it's fiddly, fidgety, frustrating at times and time-consuming with a lot of airbox R&R's. And it takes longer than most will guess at first glance. And that it isn't the most fun project that ever rolled down the pike. Absolutely worth the effort but not "fun" by any stretch.

Sounded cool without the hose hooked up to it. ;-)

One thing I don't like is the duct I used. It is not a true 3" outlet (2 3/4"). I enlarged it a little with a heat gun and cone.

obstacles. Then by pulling the hose towards the airbox find the best place to bore the 3.5" hole in the airbox and point the inverted VS.

I don't think there's any better or worse way to do it and the end result is the same if done correctly. And "correctly" does take some time, math, resourcefulness and ingenuity. Anyone can make it half-assed and ugly. To make it look original, as if the factory did it takes a LOT longer.

They say : "Mance said was hard"

I say: "no, but it is fiddly, fidegty and frustrating"

The broken record is more of a collaboration than a single artist release. Catchy tune tho aint it!?! I give it a 8.5 Dick... redundant lyrics but easy to dance to.
