What does the normallyaspirated Stage 3 MAF or any of their products do that the stock one doesnt? Not that I havent read any of the posts but im asking for a better explaination... how much power do I expect from each upgrade?

Right now im running stock everything besides a B&B Performance cold air intake system...
My repair technician (he does not work for audi) does not recommend changing the mufflers because the stock one made with titanium is better than the cheap ones made of just stainless steel.

The stock setup is restrictive to air flow. Check out the difference between a modified MAF and the stocker. (thanks Mr. D)

It's all about getting more air into the engine.

If you remove your screen before the MAF you have to add the Velocity Stack to increase the velocity of the air over the sensors, unless you like CEL's.

The throttle bodies have been ported and polished to allow much more air flow than a stock tb.

As far as power increase, there hasn't been any dyno numbers, and frankly they don't matter. All that matters is my car is stronger and faster - my butt dyno doesn't lie.

where did you get your B&B and how do you like it? I've been looking, but the ones i've seen don't look very legit.

I am looking at this pictue and I am confused. Why did Audi put that big restrictive plate in the middle in the first place? Does it serve a function? Is there nothing under it?

I have access to a mill and wondering what will happen if I just mill that out.

don't take any metal off of the walls. It tapers, & you'll end up losing a lot of the air velocity.
