When I when to install the new O-Rings, I stripped one of the allen head button screws that hold the sensor to the MAF housing. I cannot take it off with a pair of vise-grips
because the head is rounded. Besides drilling, any suggestions?
Thanks.
Roger

Though, I don't see any other way.

its like a star shaped punch. You hit it with a hammer into the stripped screw and then just use it like a screwdriver.

I was thinking of the kind that's used if the head is gone.

you have to drill part way down the center of the remaining body of the bolt. Then insert an extractor (it looks like a reverse threaded drill bit that tapers down to the point)into a tap's t-handle & turn ccw. There are several different types you can use, but this kind is the most common. I'm sure Jestnomen can attest that you get plenty of bolt extracting experience when working on planes. I've spent countless hours w/ my set of Snap-On picks removing paint from bolt & screw heads, to prevent stripping the head & having to extract the bolt/screw. Aircraft paint is very thick.

Then I suddenly realized that there is the other kind that you use to remove bolts that simply have a stripped head, but that have at least some head left.
