Figured I'd share with you guys. The Auto can get changed over to a Manual correct? I seem to remember this... Auto to Manual easy, Manual to Auto do-able, but not as easy.

I was pretty sure that it did swap easily. Now hopefully it won't have any broken parts on it like OwDee EhFore's did.

What did you tell them you wanted when searching for one of them "special" TBs?

I know it has to come from a 96-97 A6, but did ALL 96-97 A6's have the special TB? I thought it was just a select few.

remove old and install bigger A6 TB? what sort of gains can one expect?

At least that was what I understood.

I just went to car-parts.com and punched in 1996 A6 Throttle body. Tried for Autos and Manuals... one I found was an Auto. But since my car is a Manual, it's an easy swap from auto to manual... but not the other way around.
