You should feel happy, relieved, etc. that you finally might get them installed. I know, I went through that emotional mess for over six months when I got mine installed.

So I have read quite a bit here and I know people get mad at questions w/o an initial search.

I have searched through all the forums and what I can gather is the AAH head and camprovide more tourque in these engines and are direct bolt ups.

Question: What cars have this head/cam combo?

Best I can find is UrS4 post's about his S3 A4/90 passing smog with them.

I'm ready to get the die grinder buzzin!

I can tell you the firing order of a small block chevy, big block chevy, small block ford, datsun 510...etc. I can do a small block chevy head swap, cam change (degree'd) and tranny swap in less than one days effort. I can tell you anything you want to know about racing small block chevy's... ;-)

My point is, you don't know what you don't know until you learn it.

I would really like to get into tuning up this car, but I have only had it 4 days and as sunch am trying to catch up to the gurus. Is there a FAQ somewhere I can check out?

BTW: Taking out the MAF screen and replacing the air cleaner really made a difference...my car does not feel broken anymore.

(I got a cherry 96 A4 because the bad cat and clogged air cleaner had the owner thinking it was gonna blow up on him.)
