My 2.8 12V kept stalling so I cleaned my ICV/ISV ala Kris-Hansen.com. That was great! It fixed the problem. However its now the 4th month and its stalling again? So I cleaned it tonight. How frequent are you guys doing this?
Perhaps its time to replace my ICV completely???
I was trying to measure the resistance with a multimeter, but I clearly have no idea how to use it. Should I be setting it to Rx??

and never did it before, or since then. It's been about a year and a half and 20k since I did the swap.

I'm one of those... don't fix it 'til it's broke kinda guys though =P

to replace. Could always try another cleaning, though. Wouldn't hurt. ;-)

...I did this the second time I did it and its lasted about a year.The first time I did it I just sprayed it and it lasted 4 months. Remember to not let the actuator electrics get wet. Resistance is probably Rx or in ohms (don't have an omega letter on this keyboard)

If you short the test leads on the meter together it should read zero (or very close).
