What I mean is, you wont know for sure until you get it all apart, and can view each component.

Ya might even need a new or resurfaced flywheel?

A good thing to do is to purchase the clutch disk & pressure plate, along with a throw-out bearing.

The usually come in "kits"? ;O)

your going to buy a three piece clutch which includes that piece. It would make zero sense to do all that work yourself or pay for all that labor and not spend what little money the other components cost. I think i spent about 250 for everything i needed.

Don't want to tell him it'll be $150 and have to put in $250 in parts once its open...
