I just created this post under this subject so when people use the search feature it will come up with a post that has the stamping numbers that are confirmed "special TB" stampings.

I just got another one back today as a core return. It's from a 95 A6QA.

So far this is the list of "confirmed/verified" special throttle bodies and their stamped numbers:

B5 012 078 063 P (todays returned core)
B7 091 078 063 T (sean's XTB conversion)
B6 291 078 063 T (my RTB)
B6 108 078 063 T (added 3/20/04)

Is it possible to use AT TB on a MT car? I know you were taking about this long ago but I get them mixed up

they can let you know, you can go back to this thread and simply edit it by adding new #. Sombody can always keep a link to it as they do for IMW

Could it be that all Automatic throttle bodies have the larger bore? Or did we rule that out already?

6 numeric digits? Maybe its safe to assume that any TB with 078 063 as the last 6 numeric digits is the special TB?
