Where did you get your MT from? What did it cost? Is there insturctions in the bently maunal? Possible to do in a weekend? I looked at car-parts.com and the prices range form $2.5k to $525. What did you pay for it? Trying to plan out my summer projects so I can start right in June, when schools out. Thanks a lot. Any input is greatly appreciated. Did you have to change the brake pedal since it's most likely wider then it would be on a manual?

Don't pay more than 600-700 for used manual tranny. You'll need pedals of course, thats not big deal to do. As for transmission, better plan on doing it for a couple weeks if you've never done it. I took couple of them out and first time it took few hours, now as for putting it back in, thats a pain. You'll also need an engine leveler I think....its a projet, big time, but it'll be fun afterwards.

Afterall, it may be cheaper to just sell your car(considering your tranny is still good) and buy a 5 speed :-)

Check with Nick at autox.biz, I know he has few manuals and he is doing a swap on his cab right now so he can help you out a lot more, MiTip too, of course!

a 90 with only 80k. I got it from a friend who's had it all dealer maintained and for only $5000. So I'll save money in the end switching. But thanks
