of the Makita die grinder and is a steal at the Buy it Now price of $8.99. Of course he's gonna break it off in ya for $15.50 shipping/insurance. Put a $15.00 speedcontrol from Harbor freight on this and you're good to go.

Least he's got glowing feed-back.<ul><li><a href="http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&amp;item=3801360419&amp;category=42 152">Makita knock-off Grinder</a></li></ul>

I bought that $10 rotary tool from Harbor Freight. Not that I regret that but you get what you pay for.

Also, I was also thinking that just because you can use Makita replacement parts doesn't mean it come with Makita parts. :-)

The $40 HF Die Grinder looks a little less cheap on looks alone. Of course, the Makita "knock-off" would only cost about $25 but that money could be put towards the HF grinder or something better in the future.

I think I'll hold off and see if someone on the forum picks one of these babys up as $25 is precious to be right now.

Any other thoughts?

Yeah, I learned that "you get what you pay" long time ago so I am aiming at few Makitas, few days left, we'll see what happens. I have some Momo hub for BMW I am selling right now so that should cover the grinder, hopefully
