built into my airbox on my 1993 100csq, can I go ahead and remove the MAF screen to see what happens and possible leave it that way or would I need to dremel out the one in my airbox and somehow fit one that I would make my own into it and seal it up? Thanks! I know that the screen is not to catch particles but to smooth out the air flow and I know that if you remove the screen and have no velocity stack you will get a CEL + it may not be working as efficient. So I'm not sure if my stock velocity stack built into the airbox is up to par for removing the screen on the MAF. thanks guys!
