Criticsm is welcome, as I'm gonna need an AWD when I move to South Dakota. I don't know much about Schwede engineering or Saab, but I've certainly considered one as far as looks go. I'm ready for a change from Audi for now. I was looking at the RX-8, but wanted to find out where I was gonna move to first. If anyone is familiar with Saab, give me some input. My wife wants a Land Rover Freelander. If she gets that, I'll just buy a snowmobile & plenty of Gore-Tex clothing.

Did you think of the new 350Z? Don't know what you can get for 30k, though.

The 9-3 is a nice car, I've had 2 of them and just ordered the third. Although new they are out of the 30K price range you are looking at spending. My current 01' convert is a nice car with ton's-o-power. 205HP on the 4 banger. Hella torque steer but gobs better than my older 99'. My 04' is bumped up to 210hp. It'll cruise at 145 with the top down no problem, if you're into that of course.

i would get a 3, turbo the sucker...that'd be a car for the ages
