I my thermostat need to be replaced will it throw some codes? I don't have a Vag but the CEL comes on intermitantly. Could that be it?

Just ask on the various Audi or VW forums for someone in Ottawa who owns a VAG, or just go to any VW/Audi Dealer or mechanic.
