View Full Version : How do you clean injectors??? Black Sunshine 10-13-2003, 06:31 PM I have them out and now just need to clean them??? Mr.D-'97 A4q 12v 10-13-2003, 07:46 PM mine out to "a member of this forum" to have them ultrasonically cleaned. You can also send them to a place such as RC to clean and blue print them. This is a bit more expensive than I paid. Don't ask where I sent them. He'll speak up if its a service he offers. =) Mr.D-'97 A4q 12v 10-13-2003, 08:16 PM You almost forgot about the grease he put on the O rings and "Magic Pixie Stuff" he put on the electrical connectors. Black Sunshine 10-13-2003, 08:34 PM squirting out of them and if it's not that then there is air coming out or something. So off to the dealer I go to get new seals I guess. So what grease do you put on the seals? I could be without a car for a week Dead 10-14-2003, 02:01 AM DIY pressure cleaning kit, settle for additives added to the fuel,or send 'em out to a place that will clean( like the one in the link.) Sending them out to a reputable cleaning service would be best. BG44K is a good additive that can be used in the tank. As far as a on car pressure cleaning service , many have had great results from MotoVac. The DIY kits, don't know. Just know the exsist.
