...would you still happen to have the images you showed us in that post? I couldn't find your original post, but I found Electric Mainline's post that copied and pasted your info. If you still have those images, I'd really appreciate it.

This is the plenum-to-TB gasket:

What you show are a metal spacer that goes (for whatever reason) between the TB and intake manifold, and a standard Audi TB-to-intake manifold gasket.

But you're right that ETKA (and Bentley too for that matter) refer to the plenum as a "sound dampener/silencer" but have you ever considered there is no german translation for plenum? Or have you even checked Webster or Oxford for the definition of plenum?

Or are you just stuck on being right? Has it occured to you that the pic you took of the supposed plenum gasket and you referred to as "gasket" is actually referred to as "seal" in ETKA and Bentley? Could it be that "gasket" too when translated comes out "seal??"

Seems if we're gonna bicker over the King's (or Bentley/ETKA's) English shouldn't the same rules apply to YOU!?!

Meaning "intake silencer," called "plenum" by pretty much anyone I know, including the parts guy at the stealership. And no, a plenum is never the same as the "Saugrohr" aka "intake manifold."
