Does anyone have any HP data from a G-Tech pro on a bone stock A4?

I'm going to start upgrading soon, and I want to make sure I'm making "normal" power and establish a baseline. Once I have a repeatable baseline I'll be able to document gains from URS4's intake mods. I'm still looking for a suitable strip of road to use as my standard test run, but the few passes I've made come out around 135HP corrected for atmospheric conditions using the calculator at this link:

http://wahiduddin.net/calc/calc_hp_dp.htm

I used 5560lb as the vehicle weight. The number comes from the scales at the local transfer station (3360lb + me), which correlates well with URS4's 3300lb (I have about 60lb of stereo equipment in the car.

I only ran through 2nd gear since I couldn't find a suitable straight to go any faster. Drag would probably be too high in 3rd and above anyway.

135 seems a bit low for a 172hp engine. That would mean the driveline loss is about 20% which seems high. Anyone have any numbers to compare?

dyno'd. He turned a 136 with K&N panel filter and EFK. Which I believe to be worth about 12HP combined.

I further believe the DLL to be closer to 28% for quattro as thats the magic number most all 4WD dyno's are using.

Add all this to the G-Tech Pro reading approx 10-12% high tho very consistent I believe you're certainly in the ballpark. I own 3 G-tech's and have compared it to dyno runs on one of my other cars and it's always 10-12% high in any/all conditions. But it is very very repeatable tho a fidgety device to set up for consistency. Others at the A4/S4 boards have found this as well. And Just Dave (the extinct Phoenix) from here and other forums at AW has also found the same results. I always deduct 10% from my G-Tech runs and am then very comfortable that I'm close.

And I think you're very close as well. But I do believe with 28% DLL and a 10% deduct for G-tech's "optimism" you'd be closer.

I'm not so concerned with the absolute value of the number, I really just want a basis for evaluating changes. I've found that the HP feature of the G-Tech is less abusive that running 0-60 times. It's similar to your launch procedure in that it's easy on the clutch, but it keeps me from trying to manage a stopwatch as I watch the road and the speedometer.

if not by HP then by percentage and thats as good as any finite number.

The important thing is to have some (any) electro-mechanical measure of benefit other than purely SOP (seat of pants).
