in the airbox of my 100q. I was opening up my airbox to mess with a 4inch cold air intake and it has the plastic velocity stack with two plastic slats in the middle people were talking about earlier. So my question is can I remove my MAF screen without getting a code???

Tho they do prevent the MAF from throwing codes if the internal diffuser is left intact but at the compromise of flow. It's also smallish at only a 2.8" ID and does nothing for increasing velocity or volume. Purely an air stabilizer.

But it was these that got me to thinking...
