Didn't you want a small single switch cover?

didn't you just add two more fog light switches instead? They have nice LEDs in them, and you can even change the color by exchanging the LEDs. I added one switch that lights up when the low beams comes on (the blue one), and two more that light up when the brake lights come on (the red ones). I was tempted to add a little electronic gadget (consisting out of a reed switch, a spool, a transistor, and a resistor, I think) that would have made yet another LED light up when a brake light bulb failed, but I was too lazy.
PS: All those switches are on only for the picture!

'cause that's what I want.

Bare bones is fine, too.
I just didn't like the look of the empty switch covers in the dash. I also think it's ridiculous that the A4 does neither have a lit ignition lock, nor a regular headlight switch. Well, at least the newer models have a regular switch, I think...
About the brake light indicators: As I said, I was originally planning on adding a feature that would have monitored the brake light bulbs (standard if you have the multifunctional display option), but I ended up being too lazy to install it.
mount two LEDs in the blank switch cover.

how difficult to install, and what are your conclusions regarding this mod?
