used to go away when the car would warm up, but now it simply gets queter. There are two joints just past cats and before the Y joint. These joints seem to expand when the system heats up. I think that that is where the sound is originating, probably the joints don't seal like they used to. Anyone know if I can just weld pipe in their place? Are there replacements I car get for cheap? Is it just a gasket?

A new clamp took care of a minor exhaust leak.

I guess he didn't overcharge me on that one. It's still all good.

I had the same sound comming from my two clamps before the resonator. The clamps were old and rusted to ****.

I bought both of them from the dealer for 20 bucks. Then again, I shop at VW for my parts, only because I work there but we list them for like 14 bucks a piece.
