And most importantly, a good online source for ABS plastic?

I need to modify the drainage area below the windshield now that I added the larger air intake.

Thanks,
Scott

MEK is a solvent that I use on ABS but all ABS is not created equal. If it does I can tell you how to solvent weld it. Plastic welding is a term usualy saved for a method that uses plastic rods and a hot air gun.

I found some online sources for MEC, but would a local hardware store have it (ie. Home Depot)?

Thanks,
Scott

I think Harbor Freight has a cheapo heat gun for plastic welding that I'll give a try. I still need to find a good source for plastic though.

I love that. Whatever little crafting I do I use it, usually 5 minute one. And once it gets harder, after about 3 minutes you can even design any shape ou want since it becomes like a rubber, but when it gets hard, its HARD! Don't foget to use latex gloves!
p.s. if you have any excess glue sticking out and yo don't like it you can always use Dremel(I used) to cut/grind it off

Could you give me a product name so I could take a look and see if it will work for me?

I suspect the piece that I would need to make would be too big for epoxy, but I also need to fill in some of the drainage holes and it sounds like epoxy might be perfect.

Thanks,
Scott

You can get it any hardware store. They have all kinds, colors...I usually use clear one. yeah, you won't be able to make a big piece or something but if you have old pieces that you cut out you could fabricate those. Hope this helps!
