I've gone about 60 miles without a CEL. But the first night I removed the mesh, I didn't feel any difference in power.

But now (a 1.5 days later) I have noticed that my gas mileage has improved a little and the car does "seem" to feel stronger. I average 22 mph on my way to work (almost all stop and go with a quick 1 mile blast on the toll road), and usually I'll get around 17 mpg. But after the mod (I had gotten gas that morning), I'm getting 18.6 mpg on the trip computer. Maybe I'm not flooring the car as much because I've got more power now? Or maybe the car is running leaner because of the removal of the MAF screen?

Anyone else experiencing better mileage and/or power?

Now if I can only get that nifty velocity stack from UrS4 to avoid the dreaded CEL!

yes it does, hope nothing wipes out the hot wire that looks like a diode. Screen keeps it safe

if something does, you've got bigger problems.
