Also when removing the fan clutch do I need to plug the hole/void with something? (or just take it out and that's it?)

replacing the plate but I don't think its necessary. EVO's kit came with everything you need but electrical tape. Don't know about SPP's kit. You're probably going to need to remove the radiator and therefore will need some G12 coolant from your dealer and distilled water to mix with it.

I've read that the EF may draw too much power and it is recommended that a relay, fuse and separate thermostat be installed so the fan runs independent of the accessory fan.
I have no idea where to get these parts.

I'm all for it.
