Ok i see that they have all these upgrades for the 12v engine that i am absolutley extatic about.. but my A6 is much heavier then your 5speed A4's.. add about 500 lbs for stereo equipment and im evens lower :).. what kind of power increase do you guys think i will get from the ported TB, ported intake manifold, and if i went with the bored out stock headers.. is it really worth the extra cash for the new headers. im not one to waste parts, if i can modify exsting ones i would rather stay with that.

i think the big valve heads are just way too much to spend on the car but possibly the ported ones might be an option..
what other bottle necks aside form the cats (which were upgraded to high flow universals) should i be looking at.

the more restrictions you eliminate, the more power you will find. I have heard from other 12v owners (and indirect reports from other vehicle owners) who have gone from stock exhaust manifolds to headers, and all agree that you can get anywhere from 10-20 hp (a Honda V6 owner reported 30 hp just from headers).

As for other restrictions, check out the recent posts on replacing the MAF screen and of course you could always upgrade a 1/4 to 1/2 inch on the exhaust piping. However, always go with both resonator and a muffler on the 12v, as it tends to produce incredibly high decibell levels compared to other models, especially turbos.

Also if you have a belt-driven fan running off a viscous clutch, release a good 10hp by getting an electric fan kit.

Honda/Acura V6s. Seen as in with my own eyes in person.I'd love a set of TDL equal length headers in hopes of similar HP increases but while they are wonderful looking,I just can't see myself dropping 2100.00 on 'em.
