Why do I need to go sign up on Yahoo?

I tried back when this all first began, and it quickly became a PITA to simply "sign-up" to Yahoo!

Isnt this why you guys moved back here?

So now there's a '12V Develpoment' forum on Audiworld, and your wanting me to go back to Yahoo?

How can a person take this particular forum "serious" looking at the current posts?

There's more "development" going on in the "Performance" forum here at AW!

I can develop performance for my 12V just fine without this particular forum!

- That's where the archives are. There's no way around that unless you would like someone to copy all the posts here.

- I never said that or insinuated that. However, your post clearly makes it seem like you don't want to be here. You are very knowledgable and I think it would be a loss if you didn't post here.


I'm not sure why you have such an attitude about this forum. You had it back when it was on Yahoo and you continue to have it. There is a lot of good information already posted here. Just look at URS4's posts, you know they wouldn't last on any of AW's real forums. They would get deleted because they are too close to "for sale" posts under AW's current rules. His posts alone are enough to make this forum worthwhile for me.

I also see some posts about nitrous and EFK as well as several regular maintenance posts that are useful. Audiboy's posts about his original EFK as well as his post about changing the transmission fluid are particularly useful.

Mr. D's dyno results are also very interesting. And of course don't forget Rob K's supercharger picture!

There is lots of useful information over on the Yahoo board. Over time there will be a lot of useful information posted here. This forum already has more posts than on some of the regional forums and even the VAG-COM forum that was created at the same time.

If you don't think there is enough good information here, why don't you post some useful things? You complain that the forum is too focused on A4s...who better than you to change that.
